Consumers Guide for Sailboats and Gear (Owner's Reviews)

Attention all Sailboat owners and wanna-be owners! We are working to implement a comprehensive boat database in 2011 that is the first of many marine related collaborative subjects we would like to build into MarinersWiki. Hit the discussion tab if you would like to comment on this or other topics.

We have installed 'semantic forms' with the intent of making page creation a user friendly operation with no programming knowledge necessary. For a prototype we are now working on a structure to support loading thousands of models of sailboat specifications - to be enhanced with owners reviews which will then serve as a sailboat Consumers Guide for all. With collaboration from the boating community we will build a comprehensive consumers guide for mariners.

Using the wiki infrastructure allows any boat owner or enthusiast to create and enhance content for the benefit of all.
